 Job description

Reports to: Regional Sales Manager

Job purpose:

  • To promote, sell and ensure proper distribution of products in the specific portfolio of advanced wound care dressings, compression bandages and hosiery and anti-embolism stockings in both the acute and community markets (approximately 80% of time in primary care and 20% acute) for the defined Sales Territory.

 Context:

The National Health Service is volatile and in a continuous flux of change.

This job sits within the Regional Sales Team.

Your role is to maximise sales results and build strong customer partnerships. You should think of your business as a local “franchise” within the Region.

To succeed in this role you will be a “hunter” rather than a “gatherer”. You will need to work with your Regional Team to unlock Formularies and gain inclusion for the Urgo range. You will need to utilise your Regional Team for Clinical and Account Management support and drive through sales. This is not a role for the faint hearted but a strong business person with the tenacity to succeed.
