Clinical Specialist South East / East (SalesTeam)

 

Job Description

 Reports to: Regional Sales Manager. Clinical support and development will be via the Head of Clinical Services.

 

Job purpose:

 

  • To function within national and regional plans through clinical offerings to enhance the reputation of Urgo within the Wound care Market increasing market share.
  • To co-ordinate and assist in the development and the management of product trials, clinical evaluations and case studies across the United Kingdom. To deliver clinical evaluations that clearly demonstrate the “real world” impact of Urgo products
  • To work with the Clinical Researcher and undertake project work to support new product launches
  • To produce clinical posters, publications of case studies and clinical papers that will market findings from product trials, evaluations and clinical studies.
  •  To support educational and commercial activities at a local and regional level by delivering added value activities based on the Company’s existing packages and to develop these for a bespoke customer fit.
  •  To assist in, and promote the role of the Clinical Specialist at local/regional/national exhibitions, conferences and study events.
  •   To contribute towards regional sales and development plans by utilising clinical knowledge and expertise to drive activities and the development of local KOLs.
  •   To be integral in the matrix working alongside all members of the regional sales team and the Partnership Development Manager (HPM) to achieve the business goals identified in business plans and key projects as identified by the HPM.
  •  To interface effectively with Training and Marketing departments to develop product evaluation tools and training plans to benefit internal and external customers.
  • To identify (within the first 6 months) and secure an Honorary contract within an appropriate clinical area to maintain your own clinical competence and expertise and drive business growth.

This job sits within the Regional Sales Team.

  •  The role requires Registered Clinicians with an expertise in Wound Care who can demonstrate theoretical and practical skills, as well as knowledge within this specialty.
  • The overarching purpose of the role is to develop key relationships with those individuals identified as Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within the NHS clinical community.
  •  To increase the profile, clinical credibility and patient focus of Urgo as the preferred industry partner. The CS should achieve this by establishing and promoting clinical credibility and establishing partnership working with the identified KOLs. This process is undertaken with the clear understanding that any activity entered into must have a commercial return.
  •   The CS will promote Clinical standards within Urgo to further promote the Clinical credibility and patient focus to external and internal customers and industry colleagues.

- Degree level Healthcare Professional with TGN/RN current qualification or above

- Mansters qualification

 - Proven track record in aWound Care Clinical environment

- Significant Clinical and operational experience of the NHS

- Experience within a commercial Wound Care environment
